How you can help
Donating to Voicecorps benefits you and those you care about. A healthy Voicecorps means a more well-informed public, a more independent population of people who have a disability, and a longer time living at-home for many elderly neighbors here in Ohio.
Individual Giving
While many listeners contribute, most are living on low, fixed incomes. That means we really need your support to “sponsor” a listener in need. You can help with a modest monthly gift or a one-time gift.
Either way, you’re making it easier for us to find and read aloud to someone who greatly missed the pleasure of reading. Thank you!
Volunteer
Reading aloud from print publications at Voicecorps is, by far, the most popular role for volunteers. We have need for other skills, too. Are you an IT wiz? Can you repair electronics? Do you hold the world’s record for envelope stuffing? How about planning and organizing special events? At Voicecorps we do it all and you could be part of those efforts too!
Workplace Giving
If your employer hosts workplace giving campaigns such as Community Shares, giving is as easy as a few dollars month in payroll deduction. Ask your HR department if you can make a payroll-deducted gift to Voicecorps.
Annual Campaigns You Already Know
Voicecorps reading service is a proud member of Community Shares of Mid Ohio, which makes it simple for you to designate your gift in your company annual workplace giving campaign. Plus, Giving Tuesday is a global day of remembering your favorite charity during the holiday season. For 2024, Giving Tuesday is on December 3rd. You can donate directly,or participate in a number of social media gift-matching programs. Watch our Facebook Page for more details!
